     Sean Femrite has been a student of nature as early as he can remember. At just ten years old, he started his first garden service business, mowing lawns and raking leaves for neighbors. After high school he studied horticulture and landscape architecture at VA Tech.

 

     An internship with a landscape design firm in Southern California lead Sean to start his own landscape design- build firm in 1989. Sean incorporated in 2005 as Environmental Design Studio. EDS is now a full service design-build firm specializing in high end residential and commercial design-build projects. In addition, EDS has a full service maintenance division.

 

     Sean takes pride in integrating his client’s aesthetic with the site and architectural characteristics of their home.
